Salvation Tract

- Have you ever looked out a window and saw squirrels running around in nature, looking for food, climbing trees and chasing each other?  Did you wonder why we don’t live in nature?  After all, we are natural and organic creatures like the animals in nature.  We’re not made of plastic or computer parts.  Something must have happened to the human race that caused us to need to create our own environment called society.

- In the beginning, God created a beautiful natural environment on the earth where the weather was perfect and all the animals were tame.  Nothing manmade existed or was needed.  There was no water or air pollution.  This place was called the Garden of Eden.

- God then created two humans named Adam and Eve.  They were spiritual creatures that had a mind, will and emotions in a physical body.  He put them in this perfect and beautiful natural place.  These people were never supposed to get sick, grow old or die.  They had a one on one relationship with God their creator.

- The couple was permitted to eat of any tree in the Garden except for one.  This tree was called the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil.

- They disobeyed God and ate of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil.  They developed a sin nature.  This nature enables people to be selfish and commit sin.  People have had this sin nature ever since.  Sin has separated mankind from God.

- God drove the couple out of the Garden and changed the weather.  The earth no longer yielded food year round.  Spiritual death and eventually physical death came.  The animals were also affected and became fearful, wild and dangerous.

- Throughout time, God made a way for those who served him to have reconciliation.  Animal sacrifices and many laws were involved.

- This method to reconcile mankind to God was always temporary, and would have to be repeated on a regular basis.

- God decided to make a permanent way of righteousness for those who he created and loved.

- God sent His only Son to be born of a virgin.  Her name was Mary.  She was found with child of the Holy Ghost.  The child was named Jesus.  His mother was a human, but His father was God.

- Jesus was sinless and lived a life pleasing to God.  He became filled with the Holy Spirit which is the power of God.  He worked many miracles.  He changed water into wine, walked on water, multiplied a small amount of food enough to feed thousands of people and miraculously healed people of various diseases and disorders.  He even raised the dead by the power of God.

- There were disciples that followed Jesus and he anointed them to also heal the sick.

- There was a conspiracy among men to have Jesus executed, even though He had committed no crime and was without sin.  This was the plan of God.

- God’s plan was to make His Son Jesus the ultimate sacrifice for the sins of mankind.

- Three days after Jesus’ execution, God raised him from the dead.  Jesus appeared to the disciples more than once and then ascended into heaven where He is seated at the right hand of God.  Jesus then sent the Holy Spirit to help us.

- The Bible says that if we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins (john 1:9).  It also says that if we confess with our mouths the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in our hearts that God raised him from the dead, we shall be saved (Romans 10:9)

- Because God loves you so much that he gave His son to be crucified for your sins, you can be saved and become God’s Son or daughter too.

All you need to do is pray the following salvation prayer:

Father God, thank you for sending you Son Jesus to die for my sins.  I believe in my heart and confess with my mouth that Jesus was raised from the dead.  I thank you for forgiving me and I accept Jesus as my savior.  You love me and will never leave me.  I ask you to lead and guide me throughout my life. I will go to Heaven when I leave this earth and we will be together for eternity.
